“Don’t Be Blue, B+ (BE POSITIVE) Trunk Show to Benefit Relay for Life

On Saturday, June 2nd from Noon to 4 pm, Craig’s Fine Jewelry will hold a special Trunk Show, “Don’t be Blue, B+ (BE POSITIVE),” with designer, Deb Gorman, and 25% of all sales that day will go Ridgefield’s 2012 Relay for Life.  Additionally, throughout the month of June, Craig’s will be offering five specially-selected B+ items, three necklace styles and two bracelet styles ranging in price from $40 to $275, and again, 25% of all B+ sales will benefit Ridgefield’s Relay. “At Craig’s, we are always trying to give back to the community, promote the local economy, and offer our patrons the most unique selection of jewelry in the area, and by hosting local designer, Deb Gorman’s B+ Trunk Show, we feel we are doing all three and everyone benefits, especially Relay for Life” says Bill Craig.

In 2007, Deb Gorman’s life changed dramatically.  Her husband, Peter, was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and given a 25% chance of survival.  A few months later, Peter received a stem cell transplant from his brother, Bill.  Bill saved Peter’s life, and incredibly, Peter’s blood type changed from A+ to B+.

And thus, Deb’s message BE POSITIVE was born. “When you need something to hold onto, wrap yourself in positive energy.  You have the power and strength to overcome anything,” believes Deb and her family.

Fast forward to two years ago, and Deb began designing jewelry with their message, B+, with the hope of giving others the strength they need to fight the fight!  Now with a large following and several different jewelry designs using various metals and stones, her BE POSTIVE message is spreading and helping those in their times of need.

Craig’s is pleased to offer these items to Ridgefield, and thrilled to be, once again, participating in Relay for Life
